Coyotes

During our time living in Tucson we were fortunate to have open desert behind our place. This area happened to be an animal corridor with bobcats, coyotes and javelinas walking right past our back porch.
Almost all images in this gallery were taken from that wonderful space of Sonoran desert.

Big Brother
I happen to find a coyote den in the back desert behind our place in Tucson and as long as I stayed still at the top of the wash sitting down behind some bushes they tolerated my presence.
Young Rascals
I was lucky enough to find a coyote den in the back desert with 7 pups.

Staying Close
When I first spotted the coyote den in the wash below me the pups would not come out of the den so I sat down behind some bushes at the top of the wash and they soon became tolerant of my presence.
