I have been fascinated with clouds ever since my childhood when we would look up in the sky and point out cloud figures of animals or whatever our imagination could dream up. My fascination with clouds continues to this day but especially with storm clouds as they seem to create this surreal world right in front of you that is constantly changing. The amazing variation of misty cloud formations combined with the striking contrast of light/dark clouds can create a scene that you just do not see very often. One of the best items about photographing clouds is that you do not have to travel to some exotic landscape as clouds are available to everyone anywhere but the real bonus is that you will never have the same scene the next day as each new day will bring a new cloud.
